African Famine

An Oxfam press release reads, "International development organization Oxfam warned today that the food crisis in southern Africa has worsened. Recent assessments of the region indicate that 14.4 million people are now at risk of starvation unless sufficient food aid is provided immediately. In response to the worsening situation, Oxfam has launched a fundraising appeal to expand its capacity to address the crisis.
