An Old-Fashioned Fight in Iraq
Michael Edwards of the London Times recently argued that a war with Iraq would "be over in a flash" because of the "power of America's technological trump cards." To this, William Arkin of the LA Times says, "think again," because "Rumsfeld has approved a war plan for Iraq that owes more to D-day and World War II than to the 21st century vision of lightning-fast, flexible warfare that has become his hallmark."
