This slideshow explains why the official poverty line of $18,100 for a family of four in the US is entirely unrealistic. I suppose the site's creators haven't received the news yet, or the latest Heritage Foundation "backgrounder" from Robert Rector: there are no poor people in the United States! No matter what EPI says...
