Whipping Up a Justification for War
Stripped of its verbiage, ex-Bush speechwriter David Frum's new book The Right Man: The Surprise Presidency of George W. Bush reduces to this: "I was asked to provide a justification for a war that would put Washington more wholly in charge of the region that any power since the Ottomans."
