Memo exposes GOP's new green strategy
According to an internal party memo leaked to the Environmental Working Group, a nonprofit environmental research organization, Republicans are worried that they appear to be "in the pockets of corporate fat cats who rub their hands together and chuckle manically [sic] as they plot to pollute America for fun and profit."
So, GOP bigshots are looking to overhaul the way the public perceives them on "global warming" --- uhh, I mean, "climate change" -- by changing the way they speak about environmental issues.
Be sure to note that this tactical shift is all about rhetoric, not actual policies. The environment can go to hell as long as the public doesn't think that they could care less...
