Those other nukes

In an IHT op-ed piece, Hans Blix is rude enough to bring up the fact that those people who strike gallant poses on the Iranian nuclear issue tend to show little interest in the issue of nuclear proliferation generally.

Blix spends much of the article trying to understand why Western diplomats fail to go the extra mile, but he doesn't point to the obvious answer: they don't really care about nuclear proliferation, unless adversaries are the guilty party.
