A single standard?

In the Guardian, David Clark argues that unless we're willing to apply the label objectively, "terrorism" is nothing more than a term of propaganda.

Quite so. The abuse of the term only distorts our cultural dialogue about the role of violence in the modern world, obscuring the fact that the greatest users of "terror" are typically states, not the hordes of Muslims threatening to come over the wall we hear so much about in the media.
