Israel trains Kurds

The BBC's Newsnight investigative program claims it has evidence Israel has been training Kurdish troops in northern Iraq. You can watch that here.

As you may recall, Seymour Hersh wrote an article claiming the same thing more than two years ago. It's probably worth the effort to go back and re-read it.

The implications for regional security back then were pretty serious; now with Iran and Syria being openly threatened, and following the destruction of Lebanon, the implications are probably even more grave.
