9/11 & conspiracy
This essay by David Ray Griffin from the most recent issue of Tikkun condenses down some of the more pertinent material from his new book, Debunking 9/11 Debunking.
While the essay is worth a read, let me just say that it doesn't do justice to Debunking 9/11 Debunking. I don't think anyone can take an honest look at that book and come away with the idea that Griffin, and a good portion of his fellow travelers, are loons.
Griffin has written a serious, measured tome that does a much better job than anything I've read (including Griffin's previous books on 9/11) to put all of the disconcerting questions and contradictory evidence about 9/11 on the table, front and center. I don't see how anyone with an open mind could step away from it without, at the least, seeing the need for a real investigation of what happened on that day, not the whitewash that was plunked down on the American public by the 9/11 Commission nearly three years ago.
