Here's another good article by Matthew Abraham on the Finkelstein tenure brouhaha. He runs through things nicely, including the telling example of Dean Suchar's reference to "huxters."

In much the way Dershowitz's misattribution of "turnspeak" to Orwell hinted at wholesale lifting from Joan Peters, Suchar's use of "huxters" suggests that Dershowitz's dossier played a central role in deliberations over Finkelstein's tenure-worthiness -- a point that DePaul has gone to great lengths to deny. A rich irony, there.
