In the crosshairs

Ray McGovern agrees with Larisa Alexandrovna. The Bush administration, he says, looks like it has come to the conclusion that "the 'nuclear threat' from Iran is 'a dog that won't hunt,'" and has "clearly decided to use alleged Iranian interference in Iraq as the preferred casus belli" for war.

Meanwhile, the latest IAEA report on Iran's nuclear program looks to be in accord with such a shift, since El Baradei and the crew are taking yet another step away from the Bush party line.
