College Getting More Expensive

Our esteemed pResident was, at least until that day, supposed to be an "education president". "Leave no child behind," right? Well, not quite. College, for one, is getting more expensive and nobody seems to be doing much about it. From the AP:

A report card grading each state on its support for higher education found that colleges have become less affordable in most places compared with two years ago, the last time the report was issued. The nonprofit National Center for Public Policy and Education dropped the national affordability grade from a C- to a D.

Think of it this way: imagine what the billions of dollars slated to slaughter Iraqis could do for those families who just want to send their kid to college. Priorities, eh?
