Chalmers Johnson, author of Blowback: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire, has turned his critical eye towards the impending war on Iraq. This essay is adapted from his forthcoming book, The Sorrows of Empire: How the Americans Lost Their Country (cheery title, eh?).
