War, With or Without the UN (or Evidence)
Richard Perle just can't keep his mouth shut. Echoing what he said last month, the Telegraph reports that Perle again admitted that "America will not delay a war with Iraq until the autumn and is prepared to launch military action against Saddam Hussein without further United Nations authorisation."
Meanwhile, the London Times reports that Donald Rumsfeld has admitted "that Washington may present little or no evidence of Iraq’s quest for banned weapons even if President Bush decides to go to war."
